Not going to happen...

Not going to happen...

Every once in a while I think about cutting down on sugar. Can't do it.

I am a sugar addict.

Since I am not over weight and I don't inhale sugar I am just not going to worry about it but the thought to cut down does occur to me once in a while.

That is a thought to dismiss. Time for a sweet roll!

Green stuff popping up

Green stuff popping up

We have a few vegetables planted in some protected from deer boxes.

The snow peas and onions are starting to come up but no carrots. We may have to replant them.

Looking forward to vegetables that I know for certain do not have pesticide on them. We buy organic at the store but I sometimes wonder if there is some cheating going on. Hope not.

Anyway, it is great to see those green shoots coming up!

I want my sheets

I want my sheets

We use those laundry sheets that we order and we are down to our last one.

According to my email the sheets were mailed on the 10th. I think they should be here. When I click on the check on order tab on the email nothing happens.

Hope there isn't a problem with our order. I really don't like internet shopping but these sheets aren't in the store.

Got it out there

Got it out there

We have been wanting to get an umbrella for our patio and found one that is on wheels rather than in the middle of a table.

The tables were so big and heavy we decided against that. Instead we have a bunch of little tables for guests.

The stand is, of course, very heavy so it was difficult to assemble but we did it! Yea!

Sent it to our Computer Graveyard

Sent it to our Computer Graveyard

The mouse I dropped yesterday came back to life but it was not working right before I dropped it so we decided to let it rest in peace in our computer graveyard.

The new one is just zipping all over the screen!

I will be glad when we get over to Best Buy and get a new TV. They say they recycle old computers and TVS. We have a number of those.

Wonder if they take dead mice?

I knocked it out

I knocked it out

Not sure how it happened but I was working on a form at my computer and I heard a loud crash.

Somehow I had knocked the mouse off. I put it back together and the pointer showed up but I couldn't click on anything.

I tried a new battery to no avail. I turned the computer on and off and the mouse was still not working right.

Then it did work and then it didn't. After a while it started to work properly. Clyde said I knocked the mouse out and it had a hard time recovering from the blow. LOL!

What a smell

What a smell

Yoga Class today was exactly what the teacher said it would be - challenging.

Afterwards I really stunk.

I don't usually smell after class but I did today.

I guess that is a good sign that I got a good work out.

Strictly Ball Room

Strictly Ball Room

Looking into movies for Movie Night.

One of the couples is bringing Knives Out for the next one so I am looking into future Movie Nights.

I love Strictly Ball Room. It is a zany comedy with some serious scenes about Ball Room dancing.

The story is a lot of fun and the dancing is fantastic! If you haven't seen it, check it out!

Still no knee problems

Still no knee problems

I am at an age I don't care to admit to but I am pleased that I still don't have any knee problems, knock on wood.

My husband had to have knee surgery a few years ago but mine never bother me. Lots of exercise and lots of Yoga.

I hope I can continue to have a body that does not slow me down for years to come.

Reminds me of Peanuts

Reminds me of Peanuts

I am a big fan of Peanuts by Charles Schultz and have a lot of books with his comics.

Yesterday I was reminded of the time Snoopy asked his bird friend Woodstock why birds that are confronted by a car scatter instead of flying. Woodstock's reply was he didn't know.

Yesterday some birds were scooting across our big patio in some sort of panic. Why didn't they fly?

Who knows.
